Michaela Oberle started her career at Merck in 1992. She took over responsibilities in various departments of Merck and became specialist for analytical, preparative, flash chromatography.
In 2000 she joined the Pigments and Cosmetics Research team in Darmstadt, Germany and held an R&D specialist position, where she was responsible for the extraction and analysis of natural compounds as well as for cosmetic efficacy screenings including skin and hair applications.
Since 2012 Michaela Oberle acts as a R&D specialist in the Advanced analytics “Thin layer chromatography” department and took over responsibility for product development, customer requests and international trainings for TLC issues. She holds a degree of Bachelor of science in Business Chemistry.

Monika Baeumle holds a doctoral degree in chemistry. She joined the company in 2004 as Senior Scientist in Research & Development. After 2.5 years’ experience as Lab Manager in the R&D, she has started a position as global Senior Product Manager for Bio-Analytics; Proteomics and Biochemistry at Sigma-Aldrich Switzerland. Since April 2018, she holds a position as Global Product Manager for Thin-Layer Chromatography.

Michael Schulz has been working at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, since 2000. He started working as Chemical Engineer. After 7 years he took over as laboratory leader for Chromatography Particle Development. Since 2014 he is head of the Analytical Chemistry R&D group in the Life Science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
