General description
Each SRM 2574 unit is a white polyester sheet about 7.6 cm wide, 10.2 cm long, and 0.2 mm thick. It is coated with a gold-colored paint layer of ~0.04 mm thick.

Application
Lead paint film for building surfaces standard reference material (SRM) is intended to validate the results derived from portable,hand-held X-ray fluorescence analyzers for the testing of lead in paintcoatings applied to both interior and exterior building surfaces.
Features and Benefits
- Available with a certificate documenting NIST-certified value of total lead areic mass in cured paint by isotope dilution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ID-ICP-MS).
- Certified value is metrologically traceable to the International System of Units (SI) for mass and length which is expressed as milligrams per centimetersquared.
- The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, storage, handling, maintenance,and use instructions.
