Human acute T lymphoblastic leukaemia

Cell Line Description

A suspension culture derived from the peripheral blood of a 19 year old male with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in relapse. A stable T-cell leukaemia that forms rosettes with sheep erythrocytes.

Culture Medium

RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
