General description

A selective, competitive antagonist of GABAA receptor (IC50 = 440 nM) that does not affect pentobarbitone or etomidate- induced currents even at high concentrations (~100 µM). Also shown to block glycine receptors, but with low affinity (Kb = 190 µM).
