Cytoplasmic tyrosine-protein kinase BMX is an enzyme encoded by the BMX gene in humans and is a member of the TEC kinase family. It is expressed in hematopoietic cells of the myeloid lineage, where it participates in the immune response.

It is essential for the activation of the MAP (mitogen activated protein) kinase and NFκB pathways and acts at the level of the essential TAK1/TAB (transforming growth factor beta-activated kinase 1) complex.
