Ion Chromatography Standards

the image captures the essence of scientific theory with two central spheres—one blue with a positive charge and one green—illustrating the complex energy emissions and interactions at a microscopic level.

Ion chromatography (IC) separates charged molecules based on their affinity to the ion-exchange resin. It is of two types- cation exchange and anion exchange. IC determines the ions in aqueous solutions down to the parts per trillion (ppt) range. It is one of the best methods to offer quantitative analysis of ions at the ppt level. The development of modern apparatus and columns has made IC a fast, uncomplicated, and reliable tool for analysis.

The calibration and quality control of an IC system is of vital importance and requires the selection of appropriate standards. We offer a wide range of reference materials for IC, starting from single-ion standards to multi-ion standards. These standards are frequently used by the environmental, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and other industries.

Our portfolio consists of CRMs from the well-known Certipur® and TraceCERT® brands. These certified reference materials are produced under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 double accreditation. The CRMs are traceable to standard reference materials (SRM) from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Multi-ion Standards and Kits

Our selection includes a series of more than 38 different multi-anion and multi-cation reference materials solutions. The TraceCERT® products are certified reference materials produced under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 double accreditation.

Our offering also includes an IQ/OQ/PQ kit for ion chromatography. The product can test detection linearity, injector precision, and injector carry-over. The 50 mg/kg standards test repeatability (injector precision) whereas, the 1000 mg/kg standards verify maximum carry-over during the injection. The standards of 5 - 100 mg/kg are used to prove the detector linearity.

Anions

Our portfolio includes a comprehensive range of more than 40 different single component inorganic and organic anion standard solutions from the TraceCERT® brand. The products are available in concentrations of 1000 mg/L.

Cations

We offer 15 TraceCERT® cation certified reference material solutions, including ammonium and some of the most commonly tested alkali, alkaline earth, and transition metal ions. All the products are available in a concentration of 1000 mg/L and are certified according to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034.

Carbohydrates and Sugars

We offer TraceCERT® certified reference materials solutions for the analysis of mono and disaccharides by ion chromatography. The CRMs available are for fructose, galactose, glucose, lactose, sucrose, and glycerol.
