General description

Apiezon® L Grease is a silicone and halogen-free ultra-high vacuum grease.
For low vapor pressure sealing and lubrication in high vacuum applications.

Application

Apiezon® grease is suitable for use in scientific and industrial sealing and lubrication applications involving:
  • low vapor pressure sealing and lubrication in a high vacuum
  • manufacturing and servicing of high-performance vacuum pumps
  • analytical techniques such as infrared or mass spectrometry where sample contamination must be avoided

  • Free from contamination associated with silicone-based greases such as “creep” or “carry over”
  • Offers excellent lubrication
  • Ideal for use at ambient temperatures
  • Has integrated radiation resistance
  • Has powerful ‘gettering′ action, efficiently removes harmful grease and chemical impurities from metal and glass surfaces by absorption
