Centrifuges and microcentrifuges are used in microbiology, tissue culture, molecular biology, genomics, clinical applications, drug discovery, and proteomics. They should be selected based on spin speed and g-force, application, sample size, throughput, and footprint. We offer a selection of centrifuges, rotors, buckets, and adapters to fit your processing needs.
As an integral part of the Eppendorf® Microliter System, Eppendorf® introduced their very first centrifuge in 1964. Eppendorf® offers a comprehensive line of centrifuges including mini-centrifuges, microcentrifuges, compact centrifuges, and high capacity benchtop centrifuges with and without refrigeration capabilities to fulfill your daily laboratory requirements. Whether you want to spin a few tubes or you demand extra versatility for handling larger tube volumes or plates, Eppendorf® has the centrifuge solution for you.
Hettich centrifuges are known for their reliable functionality and for their fast and easy operation. These centrifuges, and their corresponding accessories, are exclusively designed and manufactured with the end-users needs in mind. The product range accommodates a diverse functionality including microcentrifuge, conical, and large-scale tube and bottle capabilities as well as microtiter plate and cytology applications.
StripSpin™ 12 Mini Centrifuges from Benchmark are designed for centrifugation of 12-position PCR strips. With a fixed speed that produces 2,000 x g, these centrifuges are perfect for quick spin downs. Simply close the lid and the unit quickly ramps up to 5500 rpm. Open the lid, and the rotor quickly decelerates for removal of samples.
The MyFuge™ Mini centrifuge is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. Ideal for quick spin downs of microtubes and PCR tubes, the MyFuge™ is extremely easy to use. Capability of speeds up to 6,000 rpm, an increased capacity, eight-position microtube rotor is included and comes installed. Also included is a second rotor for 0.2 mL PCR tubes and strips which is stored in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge.
