General description

EPA 8270 Matrix Spike Mix is a multi-component solution containing certified reference materials (CRMs) such as acenaphthene, 4-chloro-3-methylphenol, 2-chlorophenol, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, 2,4-dinitrotoluene, 4-nitrophenol, N-nitrosodi-n-propylamine, pentachlorophenol, phenol, pyrene, and 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene.

US EPA 8000 Series methods are analytical methods for identifying and quantifying halogenated and aromatic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on the EPA′s Appendix VIII and Appendix IX lists in solid wastes and groundwater at active hazardous treatment, storage, and disposal sites.
