Application

Poly(styrenesulfonic acid sodium salt) is used as an analytical size standard in the following:
  • Comparing poly(styrenesulfonate) (NaPSS) chain ordering between two solid interfaces and in bulk using colloidal probe atomic force microscopy (CP-AFM) and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS).
  • The synthesis of biohybrid materials of a stimulus-responsive hydrogel based on such a ligand-responsive DNA-protein interaction.
