General description

Method: photometric 0.005 - 2.00 mg/l N₂H₄ Spectroquant®

The method is analogous to DIN 38413-1.

This Spectroquant® Hydrazine Reagent Test allows the accurate quantification of the hydrazine content in aqueous samples.

Method applied: In acidic solution hydrazine reacts with 4-(dimethylamino) benzaldehyde to form a yellow compound which is determined photometrically.

The Spectroquant® Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet.

All our Cell and Reagent Test Kits are equipped with the unique Live ID (2D barcode) which allows seamless method recognition and contains essential information such as lot number, expiry date, and automatic calibration updates.

Application

  • New 1,8-naphthalimide-based colorimetric fluorescent probe for specific detection of hydrazine and its multi-functional applications: This publication directly relates to Hydrazine Testing, detailing the development of a specific probe for hydrazine detection. The study showcases the critical role of Hydrazine Test kits in ensuring safe handling and accurate monitoring of hydrazine levels in various industrial and research applications (Lu et al., 2024).
