Application

Silver carbonate can be used as a catalyst to synthesize α-trifluoromethylacrylic acids and 2-(pyridin-3-yl)pyrimidines (PPMDs), key building blocks for synthesizing bioactive molecules. Additionally, Ag2CO3 can also be used to functionalize metallofullerenes with potential photovoltaic and biomedical applications.
