Synthesis Supports

Synthesis Supports

Controlled Pore Glass (CPG) has proven to be the most accepted supports for the chemical synthesis of DNA and RNA. Features include high surface area, efficient mass transfer and chemical inertness.

Detritylation & Activation

Coupling takes place once the DMT groups are removed through the detritylation mechanism utilizing TCA.

Activator solutions are mixed with solutions of phosphoramidites during the extension step.

Coupling

Phosphoramidite monomers are added through the coupling mechanism utilizing the following products:

Capping & Oxidation

Stabilization of the reactions and efficiency of the yield is achieved through oxidation and capping.
