1-Aminohydantoin hydrochloride has been used as a reference standard for the determination of residues of veterinary drugs in meat, e.g., furazolidone, furaltadone, nitrofurantoin, and nitrofurazone by isotope dilution liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS).
1-Aminohydantoin hydrochloride may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of residues of nitrofuran in milk samples using liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
