General description
SRM 3185 consists of five sealed borosilicate glass ampoules, each containing 10 mL of solution that has been prepared gravimetrically to contain a known mass fraction of nitrate. The nitrate is dissolved in filtered (0.22 μm) water, which has a minimum resistivity of 18μΩ cm.

Application
Nitrate anion standard solution standard reference material (SRM) is intended for use as a primary calibration standard for the quantitative determination of nitrate using anion ion chromatography (IC).
Features and Benefits
- Available with a certified mass fraction value of nitrate anion standard solution. Certified values are measured by,
2. Anion chromatography calibrated using independently prepared sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate primary standard solutions.
- Certified values are traceable to the International System of Units (SI) and SI-derived unit of mass fraction.
- The NIST certificate is provided with storage, handling, and use instructions.
