General description

Polydisperse Particle Standard (PS314, size: 10-100 μm) is a size standard, ideal to determine the particle size distribution (PSD) profile of test samples. Produced using a 100-stage spinning riffler, this standard is analyzed by techniques such as electroformed sieving, wire sieving, microscopy, electrochemical sensing zone and sedimentation.

Application

Used for equipment particle size calibration.
It can also be used to determine the accuracy and reproducibility of laser diffraction particle analyzer.

Features and Benefits

  • suitable for routine instrument calibration checks, testing and corrections
  • available as a neat sample
  • nominal weight with a standard deviation of approx. 5% (uncertainty 10%).
