General description
PerCP (Peridinin-chlorophyll-protein complex) is a water-soluble dye that is isolated from a Dinophyceae sp., a photosynthetic dinoflagellate. It exhibits an excitation max at 477 nm and an emission max at 678 nm and has an extinction coefficient of 350,000 cm-1 M-1. PerCP is commonly used for fluorescent immunolabeling, particularly in applications involving fluorescent-activated cell sorting (FACS) and can be used for multicolor analysis with FITC, phycoerythrin, and other fluorochromes. Due to its photobleaching characteristics, PerCP conjugates may not be used on flow cytometers with high-power lasers.
Application
Flow Cytometry: Excitation: 477 nm, Emission: 678 nm
Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user
