General description
Silicone Isolators allow researchers to isolate specimens using removable hydrophobic barriers. They may be used to isolate cells grown in culture dishes or separate multiple specimens affixed to microscope slides. Isolators are available in red silicone thickness 0.5 to 2.5mm pre-cut or as sheet material with or without secure seal clean adhesive on one or both surfaces. Nonadhesive isolators are autoclavable and reusable.
Silicone Isolators remain sealed to smooth surfaces during washing steps. Where additional sealing is required, SecureSeal adhesive on one or both surfaces is recommended. Each seal design is also available in CultureWell "water-clear" silicone, which is highly recommended for sensitive cell culture applications. Closed chambers may be formed using flexible RNase free, HybriSlip covers. Recommended use temperature is -62°C to 218°C.

In neurons, the continuous and dynamic endoplasmic reticulum (ER) network extends throughout the axon, and its dysfunction causes various axonopathies. However, it remains largely unknown how ER integrity and remodeling modulate presynaptic function in mammalian neurons. Here, we demonstrated that
