Myristic acid is an important bioactive component of Suanzaoren seed, which is one of the most commonly used Chinese medicine with therapeutic properties such as hypotensive, antihypoxia, hypnotic-sedative, antihyperlipidemia, and hypothermic effects.

Applicazioni

Myristic acid may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the anayte in Ziziphus jujuba using high performance liquid chromatography with evaporative light scattering detection.
