Anwendung

α-Ketoglutaric acid may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in the following:

• Human plasma samples using gas-chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry.
• Beer samples using high-performance liquid chromatography with UV detection, and further confirmed by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-MS/MS).
