Application

Nonadecanoic acid has been used as an internal standard for the quantitative determination of acid catalyzed methylation of fatty acid methyl esters in microalgae, Selenastrum sp. in the presence of bacteria, using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry.(GC-MS).
Nonadecanoic acid may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in Notopterygium forbesii Boiss using high-performance liquid chromatography technique.
