From the very beginning of the Clean Air Act era, Millipore® brand filters have been a staple product used and named in many of the particulate monitoring methods published. Concurrently, Supelco products have been named in many of the methods focused on vapors and gasses. In 2016, the Millipore® and Supelco products were brought together as part of the larger MilliporeSigma organization. By combining the expertise derived across the last 50 years; MilliporeSigma is committed to continuing to support scientists, regulators, and professionals in ensuring the safety and well being of those faced with potential exposure to unsafe particulates, vapors and gasses.
The purpose of this webinar is to review the evolution of regulations, their corresponding regulations and latest innovations involving filter medias in sampling devices. While the majority of filter based methods focus on particulates, there have been recent innovations that utilize impregnated membrane filters for vapor monitoring as well; Contaminants addressed will include: Asbestos, Silica, Heavy Metals, PM 2.5, and Isocyanates.
After participating in this webinar, you will:
Have a better understanding of filter-based air monitoring best practices.
Know how to choose the best filter media for a given application.
Get your key questions answered about air monitoring applications and getting the best results from your tests.
