Development of an Innovative Single-Use Bioprocessing Film for Strength and Leak Resistance

WEBINAR

Single-use assemblies are increasingly used for large-volume transfer of liquids in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. While the benefits of single-use technologies are widely recognized, the risk of leaks during handling, processing, transportation, and storage persists.

This webinar discusses how a new approach to film design has addressed these issues and developed a film with a clean contact layer, superior strength, durability, toughness, and flexibility. The re-evaluation of single-use film functional layers was performed successfully using modern analytical testing and new resin selections to create a new high-performance single-use film.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • About the challenges manufacturers face using single-use products
  • Advancements made in single-use film technology
  • The impact extractables and leachables can have on cell growth
