Allgemeine Beschreibung

Na(+)/H(+) exchange regulatory cofactor NHE-RF2 (NHERF-2) is also known as NHE3 kinase A regulatory protein E3KARP, SRY-interacting protein 1 (SIP-1), Sodium-hydrogen exchanger regulatory factor 2, Solute carrier family 9 isoform A3 regulatory factor 2 (SLC9A3R2), and Tyrosine kinase activator protein 1 (TKA-1). NHERF-2 is a Scaffold protein that links ezrin/moesin/radixin family members to the actin cytoskeleton and regulates their surface expression. NHERF-2 is critical for the cAMP-mediated phosphorylation and inhibition of SLC9A3. NHERF-2 is also thought to act as scaffold protein in the nucleus.

Anti-NHERF-2 Antibody, clone 32B6 is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody, that targets NHERF2 & has been tested in western blotting, ICC & IP.
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A representative lot was used by an independent laboratory in A431 and NHERF-2 transfected HT1080 cells. (Theisen, C. S., et al. (2007). Mole. Biol. Cell. 18:1220-1232).
Immunoprecipitation Analysis: A representative lot was used by an independent laboratory in Batt cell lysate. (Theisen, C. S., et al. (2007). Mole. Biol. Cell. 18:1220-1232).

Qualität

Evaluated by Western Blotting in HaCaT keratinocytes cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: 1.0 µg/mL of this antibody detected NHERF-2 in 10 µg of HaCaT keratinocytes cell lysate.

Zielbeschreibung

~ 37 kDa observed. An uncharacterized band may appear at ~41 kDa in some lysates.
