General description

The Supel BioSPME 96-Pin Device combines BioSPME technology with high throughput free fraction determination for plasma protein binding studies and other free analyte analyses commonly performed by pharma and clinical laboratories. This fast, micro-sample prep device comprises a 96-pin universal format that fits into the wells of standard 96-well plates. The pins are coated with C18 particles and a patented binder that allows for small analytes of interest to bind, while larger macromolecules cannot. This extraction technique is shown to be more than three times faster than rapid equilibrium dialysis methods with improved data quality. Supel BioSPME 96-Pin Device workflow can be performed on automation robots via handling with standard gripper paddles, or alternatively can be achieved using a manual technique.
