Gene Information

human ... TIMP1(7076)

Specificity

Reacts with TIMP1. Does not react with any other human proteins tested so far. The antibody reacts with native and denatured TIMP1 and TIMP1 in and out of enzyme/inhibitor complex.

Immunogen

Full length purified human fibroblast tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases {Clark, IM (1991) Matrix 11:76-85}.

Application

Anti-TIMP-1 Antibody detects level of TIMP-1 & has been published & validated for use in ELISA, WB, IH.
